Kwe!

Bastien is thrilled to partner with the New Pathways Foundation in support of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, taking place on September 30th.

What is the New Pathways Foundation?

The New Pathways Foundation supports First Nations youth by contributing to their education, cultures and general well-being.

For Bastien, young indigenous people are actors of change; they are the leaders of tomorrow. Access to education and connection with their cultural identities are paramount. So it's a natural fit to partner with a Foundation committed to this vision on this important day.Un modèle unique.

A unique model

'' For this partnership, we created the Kwaweyih' moccasin, which means 'together'. It's an original, colorful model, in the image of First Nations youth, for which 100% of the profits will be donated to the Foundation ''.

— Jason Picard, owner of Bastien.

Each moccasin is an invitation to walk together along the same path, the path of reconciliation.

Event at Laval University

Although Kwaweyih' is already available online for pre-sale, it will be officially revealed on September 28, 29 and 30, at Laval University, in an event dedicated to the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Alongside the New Paths Foundation team and other leading members of Indigenous communities, Bastien will be gathering with young people to share knowledge and expertise.

It's a rendez-vous!
